Powers Senior Director of Government Affairs Jeremy Scott gave a presentation last week on the Cancer Drug Parity Act for a Blood Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM) Advocacy Teleconference.
The teleconference, hosted by the Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) as part of BCAM, provided policy updates on the Cancer Care Planning and Communications Act and Cancer Drug Parity Act and gave guidance to advocates on legislative priorities for the month of September.
Jeremy’s presentation focused on the oral chemotherapy parity issue and the Cancer Drug Parity Act, a bill introduced to ensure that oral cancer drugs are covered in the same way as traditional IV chemotherapy.
The full webinar can be seen here. Jeremy’s presentation begins at 17:00.
