Powers Senior Director of Government Affairs Jeremy Scott presented at the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN) Annual REACH Conference on November 7th.
Jeremy presented with ARN member Anne Ruggiero, BSN RN CRRN, in a session titled “Advocating the Value and Role of Rehabilitation Nurses.” The session covered ARN health policy and advocacy issues and the actions ARN has taken in the past year to advocate for rehabilitation nurses. Jeremy and Anne also discussed various opportunities to support ARN’s Health Policy and Advocacy Agenda.
The Association of Rehabilitation Nurses has a membership of more than 5,000 professional RNs who work to advance rehabilitation nursing in a variety of practice settings, including acute care, inpatient rehabilitation units, long-term care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies, and academia. Jeremy Scott is a Senior Director of Government Affairs in the Powers Pyles Sutter & Verville Government Relations Practice, where he focuses on health care policy and representing the interests of nonprofit, advocacy and health organizations.
