Powers was featured in Bloomberg Government’s 2021 top-performing lobbying firms list, an annual report that highlights the 350 firms that reported $1 million or more in lobbying revenue.
Powers’ inclusion on the list of top lobbying firms reflects the continued growth of the firm’s government relations and legislative practice. Since 2019, the practice has brought on Principal Julie Allen, Directors of Government Relations Taryn Couture and Joe Nahra, Counsel Kathleen Hatfield, Senior Health Policy Advisor Dr. Bruce Gans, and Legislative Analyst Michaela Boudreaux. The practice’s many new additions joined the already deep bench of legal and legislative talent, including Principals Peter Thomas, Bobby Silverstein, and Peggy Tighe, as well as Associate Leela Baggett.
The firm’s government relations and legislative practice encompasses the full range of bipartisan government relations services, including strategic problem-solving, direct lobbying, legislation development, regulatory affairs, grassroots advocacy, and policy development.
