Powers Principals Peggy Tighe and Diane Millman will speak at the American Society of Transplant Surgeons’ 17th Annual State of the Art Winter Symposium Business Practice and Legislative Session in Miami on January 27.
Peggy Tighe will serve as both a speaker and a panelist during the event. Her speech titled “Transplant and Health Care Policy: What to Expect from the New President, Administration, and Congress” will serve as a legislative update regarding possible healthcare changes under the Trump administration.
Her speech will discuss substantive policy insight and a vision of how the White House, its agencies and Congress will prioritize and advance policy objectives. She also will provide an analysis of key issues relating to the transplant profession and how Congress is expected to react to each.
Diane Millman will discuss the implications of MACRA for transplant surgeons. She will speak alongside David J. Reich, MD of Drexel University and Alan I. Reed, MD, MBA of University of Iowa.
