Joel Hamme retired from Powers on April 30, 2019. Joel practiced healthcare law for 46 years, 21 of them at Powers. His areas of expertise included Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement issues for institutional providers and the 340B drug discount program.
Joel was a frequent lecturer and author on healthcare law issues and was very involved in the American Health Lawyer Association, serving as President in 2008-09. He garnered numerous honors and awards and was perennially included in Chambers USA, America’s Leading Lawyers, Best Lawyers in America and Washington DC Super Lawyers.
