Powers Principal Barbara Williams spoke at the Healthcare Enforcement Compliance Conference on November 17th in a breakout session on 340B compliance.
Barbara presented with Cindy Bartlett, VP Chief Compliance Officer of the St. Charles Health System. They discussed 340B program requirements and the need for a robust 340B compliance program, as well as practical advice on implementing a 340B compliance program. The presentation also covered recent hot topics that are currently impacting 340B, such as manufacturers’ refusal to honor contract pharmacy agreements.
The Healthcare Enforcement Compliance Conference is an annual conference run by the Healthcare Compliance Association (HCCA) that provides insight on regulatory changes, expectations, and key priorities in healthcare compliance.
