Powers Counsel Rebecca Burke will present on remote patient monitoring at the Center for Telehealth and e-Health Law (CTeL) Digital Health Fall Summit on December 3rd.
She will present on a panel titled “Remote-Patient Monitoring: The New Rule, Scenarios, and Pitfalls to Avoid,” along with Arent Fox attorneys Douglas Grimm and Hillary Stemple. The panel is part of CTeL’s annual summit, an event that convenes the leading thinkers and innovators in the medical community to consider issues surrounding the use of emerging technologies that hold potential to improve the delivery of safe and quality medical care.

Rebecca has more than 35 years of experience in health law. Her practice encompasses a broad range of regulatory, fraud and abuse, and reimbursement issues that affect physicians, hospitals, transplant centers, diagnostic testing facilities, and various other healthcare providers. She also advises clients on issues related to telemedicine and remote patient monitoring. She regularly helps clients advocate with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and other federal agencies on such matters as Medicare and Medicaid payment, coverage and coding.
