Regulatory Panel
Sharon will join other education policy experts on this moderated panel to discuss hot topics concerning key regulatory issues currently facing postsecondary education. Attendees will gain valuable insight into a variety of new federal and state changes impacting ABHES-accredited institutions, including those related to accreditation, state authorization disclosures, the College Scorecard, institutional financial responsibility, cybersecurity, student aid delivery, and Title IX. Audience participation through a Q&A segment will be included.
The Regulatory Panel will take place at 9:30 a.m. CT on Friday, March 6.
Surviving (or Even Thriving In) a Program Review or Audit
This session will cover the process behind U.S. Department of Education program reviews and compliance audits, and provide best practices to position institutions for a successful review or compliance audits, including how to prepare for and navigate the review, what happens when the program review team is on campus, and common findings and areas of focus for the Department and auditors. The session will also provide tips and an update regarding the Department’s compliance audit requirements and process. While the goal is preventing findings, the session will also cover options to contest final findings.
Nick and Dan’s presentation will take place at 9:45am CT on Thursday, March 5.
