Powers Senior Director of Government Affairs Jeremy Scott will present Friday, September 13th at the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA) 2019 Practice Management Course.

In his presentation, Jeremy will discuss current regulatory issues that may impact hematology/oncology pharmacists and their patients. He will cover the Trump Administration’s proposals for lowering out-of-pocket costs for patients, HOPA’s health policy activities in relation to lowering out-of-pocket costs, and opportunities to support HOPA’s regulatory agenda.

HOPA’s annual Practice Management Program brings together experts in the field of pharmacy services management to share their expertise and practical solutions to the everyday challenges of providing first-rate clinical care in a fiscally responsible manner. This year’s program is designed to guide oncology pharmacy providers in effective management of the expensive, high-risk care and oncology medications they provide, while allowing for implementation of new technologies and ensuring improved safety and patients’ compliance with medication instructions.

Jeremy’s presentation will take place at 9 am on Friday, September 13th. To learn more about the HOPA Practice Management course, visit the website here.
