Powers Principals Stan Freeman and Sean Beller recently wrote an article about emergent training models that create both opportunities and challenges for private career colleges in the rapidly changing vocational training landscape.
In the Career Education Review article, Stan and Sean write about apprenticeship programs, coding “boot camps,” third party distance education platforms, corporate training, and other alternative training models.
The article discusses how these training models have impacted postsecondary education, the newfound focus on short-term training strategies and opportunities, and the importance of diversification beyond just programs reliant upon federal student aid.
